If I can find someone willing to receive, test, and reship these, we can do do this.

I simply don't have the time or ability to ship these quickly. I'm tired of making people wait on me. If anyone is willing to take that responsibility. PM me.

I thought the one organizing GB is only responsible for the ordering and shipment management.
You have to ship them individually too??
Won't that be wasting money on double shipping?

With CNI they go directly to me, then I ship them out.

Offroad has something good with LaserBTB where they just ship to the customer directly.

I don't trust CNI to pull that off when they seem to mess up every order somehow.

Costs an additional $12 for me to ship, and the frustration of having to take 10+ boxes to the Post Office. Not fun. So if I could work out something with someone who has the time to do that, that would be nice.

Well if you are using USPS ,you can always just wrap the box the lasers came in with some wrapping paper , print out the addresses on some labels , stick it on the wrappings . Vola! Shipping prepared.

Then you can get on USPS and ask have them collect all the packages at your front door.

That's a way to do it . :)
BTW .. Yeah I know what you mean about CNI messing up orders , my laser nearly ended up in Texas.

I live in the dorms on base, no front door ;) I have to go out to the post office that closes a few minutes after I get out of work. If I get out on time. It's luck.

Only issue is not having a car. Honestly because I don't need it, work is 8mins away, and it's nice to have sunlight wake me up.

Not having a car for the post office though, that sucks.

I live on a Military base, active duty. Not on a college campus. We don't have MIT. I actually had to look it up.

I'm not 20, I'm not at MIT.

I do, however, plan to apply to MIT once I separate. Whenever that happens. I will hopefully have a masters by then, as well as my website, a research group, and all the findings I have done myself. Thus creating a decent package. In theory.

It says I plan to go, not that I'm already there :p I'm currently active duty USAF.

I'm going to attend a community college through TA, get my core classes out of the way, then transfer to Lincoln. They have several renown laser labs, as well as a more applicatory view on sciences. Rather than the math, I will learn the math, as well as do it.

I then plan to take this package, with a masters, and the fact that I've done so much amaturely , etc, to apply to MIT later on. If I don't have my masters when I get out, I will finish it up, and finish up my undergrad in physics, and my minors. Either way, can't pay for a doctorate on a PhD. So that's all me anyway..

That was a whole lotta thread to read through to figure out dafuq was going on. Lol.

Hey bloompyle I would be willing to receive, test, and ship the lasers out for the next GB. I have a good LPM that goes up to 10W with a fast response time. It doesn't do graphs but I can tell if something is on spec. I usually have a good amount of time on my hands and I have access to a car.

But for real, I can wait! As Long as I get the laser you can take your time. I completely understand that this a means of getting a quality laser at a reduced price. You are not a company with stiff time frames to uphold, and I will certainly pay for laser+shipping, and prob. a tip ;)

Because me paying CNI crazy shipping, and the hassle of wire transfer is why this GB is so awesome.

I always wondered why CNI doesn't have a reseller.
They would be making millions if they do and hype it up with a popular name.
Like Styro for instance.
