IMO, it's the most compelling of the two-color models taking into account price. I can't personally rationalize the price premium for 640 over 655, when the colour is just getting mixed into magenta. Similarly, I can't see using 405 instead of 445 when 445 produces such a higher visibility at virtually the same component cost.

445-655 is my ideal :)

PGL-RB-655 ? I'll need to ask...

From the bottom of the first post:

The new two in one lasers that when both are on make a third apparent color:
PGL-RB-640nm
150mW $410
200mW $465
300mW $475
PGL-RG-655nm
150mW $265
200mW $275
250mW $288
PGL-RV-655nm
150mW $265
200mW $275
250mW $288
;)

If you want high power/high visibility the 447nm might be overkill for just 150mW of 660nm red (the max red amount they include). If you settle for a lower 447nm amount, you might be fine.

Interesting point. And truthfully, the beam specs on a 405 would match a red better too, which might make for more natural blending.

That said, even 250mW of combined 405 and 650, is not going to be very visible. Though by that same token, nor would any of these combinations save for potentially the 300mW PGL-RB-640nm.

....thinking....

The 650/405nm would certainly be easier on the wallet :)

But is it going to satisfy your wishes according visibility? ;)

No, not my wishes ;) But realistically, I don't think any of the models will really have a substantially visible beam. That's ok.

I´m SURE that there is MUCH of a difference between the 447/640nm and the 405/660nm combination when it comes to beam visibility. I can see the violet beam of mine in a lit room.

realista, the endeavor is a GLP and the group buy prices are significantly cheaper than nova.

Glenn, any updates would be nice.

I need to know the CNI model of the Endeavor to get prices, I described it and the rep said give me the model #, so I don't yet know? I want to order soon, but so far there are a less than adequate # of lasers to make an order work... I keep hearing some one new will jump in, but so far they didn't... GH Any of you know? -GH
