Does the HL460 use the same 450nm diodes or is it actually 460nm?

About the 50mw 520nm/15mw 515nm, are you sure the 30mW is more expensive than the 50mw? It's the other way around on the site.. I'm seriously considering getting a 30mw for the lower wavelength.

It uses the 450nm diode laserbtb just named it 460. Dont know why. And yes those are the prices given to me the 515 wasn't originaly planned for the gb. I dont know if it has something to do with that or that the cost price of the 515 diodes in smaller quatities are the issue. Or they want to get rid of some of the 520 stock. It can have lots of reasons i guess..

In your case gun your best bet would be to buy the per built laser just because you don't want to run the risk of having an accident with a $100+ diode. This is a killer deal and I think I'll be getting one!

Don't have either of the 520 or 515. No-one here actually owns that 515 correct? Can't help thinkin that the 515 MIGHT take a dive in $ like the 520 so the 520 is potentially the better deal right now.

Only one i know that got the 515 is DJNY :)

Ad yes it could potentially get lower but not really that much as they allready have dropped. The drop on these the last few weeks on these is insane :tinfoil:

I'm actually inclined to take the 515, because I think diode manufacturers will aim for higher wavelengths due to them being brighter and more projector friendly. I'm afraid lower wl's will get rare in the (very) near future, like those original 505/510's did.
I'm waiting for Kevin to answer me a shipping related question to decide.

Does anyone know if they also have the exposed pot like the blues?

Do you guys think there difference between the 520 and the 515 can actually be seen? Just asking because since I have none, Might consider getting both but only if there is a noticable difference in the color. I know there has to be "some" difference but can the human eye actually see it?

The datasheet says:
515 - min: 510, typical 515, max 530
520 - min: 515, typical 520, max 530

Unfortuantely we can be unlucky and get a 530 even if we buy the 515 :/
I'm still more inclined to gamble on the 515 but haven't decided yet...

Hmm Im considering the 520 too the price is really good. I was going to use the MSv4 for a 520 build, but I might try to get hold of one of the 510 diodes... Does anyone know if they are still available?

Wow already onto GB 3 I haven't even made my review of the laser i got in GB 2.
Anyway Looks like I'm gonna sit out of this group-buy I'm still broke from the last one xD.
Besides I still got to save money for selem.

Anyone know what the highest nm anyone has gotten on one of these? Wouldn't be so great to get one that was at 530nm.

Yeah i did bit plan to do one now but kevin mailed me if i wanted to so i thought why not. Time goes fast though! I can remember we wanted to have all shipments out before chinese new year which is in february!

Awesome man! Adding you now! The spanwith of wavelengths is still unknows right? I know ARG has tested a few..

Note to everyone else! The extra's like the extra 3.5mm jack like people got in the last GB are still valid for this GB. So you get the same stuff basically :)

Will add to the OP when i get near a computer later :beer:

I may get in on this GB just for the tripods if possible. Also would it be possible for me to buy a laser case for one of my lasers? Bit unorthodox I know, lol.

Hey man! For that kind of stuff your better of mailing kevin yourself. Discount on that kind of stuff is not that big and i dont know how the shipping works. You would probably have litte use of having me in between.
