The HL version is also clear to me except for the question if it takes 2× 3.0V or 2× 3.7V

Are you sure it's correct ? sinds you just said that all PL lasers run on 18650 ?

The battery question is something you can ask for us :)

16340 is same as cr123A or crc123 right ?

16 34 0 only stands for diameter and size and the 0 designates that it is a cylindrical shape right ?

If that's the case, can you also ask if it can take protective cells ? being a bit longer in size, or does it only take primary's.

This way i can order me some more cells.

I would also like to know this. I just ordered four additional 16340's, and I'm thinking about getting even more than that. I only own two right now, and they die so fast in my 1W 445nm.

Well, in the 532nM 300mW protected cells worked great. The cap has a sort wide pin that you can push down a good 1cm. I this cap is also used in other HL's which seems logical i am 99% sure protected cells will fit.

I am sure other members also can confirm that. Anyways i sent a mail to kevin.

Does anyone know if these lasers will be LPMd and if they will include some sort of means for us to see the exact output of each of ours lasers? Also, if it has to be requested I would very much like to have my username on my laser.

I don't think they will be lpmed but I want to know what was going to happen with the name labels :)

i would like my HL532-300 mW laser to have an IR filter. Should I put that request in the PayPal comments just to be sure?

See post 68, and well i dont know if he lpm's he said he will make sure to send out Up to spec lasers because he wants lpf member to be satisfied. Up to kevi really is he is smart he will lpm them before shipping so he does not get trouble with returns..

Not neccecairy maybe i am requesting that for all 532nM's

EDIT: the HL405 and the PL405 van both use all 2x 16340. And fit all cells!!

Hello again, according to the Skylaser (SOKY) website, it says the HL-405 takes one 18650 battery and that the unit comes with a universal battery charger. In the above post it states the HL405 takes 2x16340 batteries. My question is should I go out and buy a charger and a set of 16340 batteries so I have them when the laser gets to me? Thank you

Yep normally not because they only had DHL. DHL wont ship batteries. With this new shipping method batteries are not a problem.

I believe all his 532s are IR filtered. I was poking around and found a diagram of his small pen pointer that showed having an IR filter. I would find it odd that the lesser pointer would have it and not a more powerful one.
