Well in my opionion you have a few options:

1. Sell the laser for a profit and pay the gb price to kevin (helps you and him)
2. I could ask a discount for the troubles so you can keep both
3. I pay GB price to kevin and i get the laser (+Send you funds for shipping etc.)

let me know ;)

greetings,,

@infinitus, every 3.5mm jack wil do! as long as you short the wiring inside a cable. originally i believe that that jack had multiple meanings for one safety. Second you can cut the original plug cable so you have two wires. And then wire it so you can operate it from a distance ;)

Yeah, my laser doesn't have that. Let me grab a picture of it to show you. It's not that big of a deal, but rather it's just not what I expected.

I see the 405 models dont have that :tinfoil: you can check the difference on the laserbtb site.

I am wishing my laser didn't have that since I know I will never use it lol. I looked into pulling apart the tail cap and bridging it internally but its put together too tightly and I cant get it free.

You have to unscrew the tail cap. Hold the pin and unscrew the cap :p

I mean bridge the connections within the tail cap itself not the connector so I don't need to connector at all. Since that's the part that bugs me sticking out the back.

Put in a small nail or a piece of metal that fits and looks nice too. I would not perform a unreversible action.

I was hoping to bridge it with solder that can be removed if needed. I guess a nail would be easier since I can't get the damn thing open anyway lol.

Muhahaha...
I just placed an order for a Laserbee II :D
