Yeah sure, underperforming lasers get replaced. However i sent a mail about what to do with you lr current one.

Yeah, keep us on the "not received" list a bit longer. I'm sure everything will be alright though since my package arrived at Belgian post last week so it's only a matter of time :)

On which site do you track it exactly? :)

I use the Chinese site from the PM I got. You know, the one that rarely works :p

Well, no movement on tracking, on any site. Actually the chinese one just crashes every time. Using 17track, and USPS.

yeah the site on mine crashes also and gives the 500 internal blabla crap. Anyway tomorrow kevin should be responding to all the issues. I am curious to see what he comes up with :)

I must say the china Post is very slow the last month. I have about 15+ packages shipped from DX and just a few have arrived. I am still waiting for the bulk of the orders.
The same thing for the other Chinese shops and Ebay. All the big packages have delays. Only the small packs and envelopes have arrived.

DX shipping speed has always been deplorable but I actually think I have noticed a speed decrease also.

I just received an airmail package today, that I ordered on the 4th.

So far Skylasers have missed every timeline that was setup.

Order payment sent 9/17 to Skylasers.

Lasers were supposed to have shipped 9/20.

First tracking numbers went out 9/21 to the baron, brucemir, and andrewprogrammer!

9/24 News that all lasers will ship today.

9/27 Supposedly all lasers shipped.

10/18 Kevin is informed that there is a problem with packages not received.

10/22 Kevin says "this Thursday we will send new lasers via Fedex for the missing/ broken lasers."

10/25 (Also known as thursday...) Comes and goes with no updates.

offroadfreak8582 I'm sorry, I know you tried your best to make this a GB a success, and this is not your fault. Please do not take this personally, or as a reflection upon yourself.

Unfortunately as of this moment, with five orders having not gotten to their destination, one exhibiting problems, and Skylasers not being responsive, continuing to string things along... well, it doesn't look good.

If Skylasers cannot come up with some very good answers by the end of day tuesday, which happens to be 45 days from when payment was sent, such as a working fedex, DHL or EMS tracking number that shows movement (I really can't see anything less as being credible), please ask him to issue a refund for my lasers and shipping immediately, and in turn refund me when he refunds you.

At least this gb is not a faillure for everyone the most people that actually got a laser are happy. Because of postal faillure things went wrong. I do not think this makes a GB a faillure if it is resolved.

If he resends can you ask him to make sure that the lasers are on spec/overspec? As a sort of 'sorry'? :p

I was sure though that my laser was on its way :eek:

One thing with Fedex, UPS or any other expedited shipping is that the customs are going to involved it. That means the package will be checked and taxed. :(
With regular shipping this chance is rather small. At least I experienced that in Belgium.

Depends i dont know about belgium/US but i had multiple lasers shipped from kevin to me via fedex and i never had problems here. Anyway it does not mather. It is up to kevin to ensure EVERYBODY get's a laser or a refund. Also with FEDEX you at least know it is at customs because the tracking actually works :na:

Yeah last time I got my laser through FedEx and it was marked as flashlight sample with a value of 5 usd

Edit: By that I mean: don't worry Blord, if the value is not too high then customs won't ask for tax on it :)

You guessed it. At present I just don't want to gamble again on a company that doesn't seem to care all that much.

Edit: I still don't get the postal failure. Were the lasers ever shipped before? What actually happened?

I believe him when he says he will ship you a brand new one. I am very happy with my laser and i think you should give him another chance.
