Ha!

You really made me happy to see that you like the gift, and that it's fully functional again, and more then that :)

I'm sure it will output 1W ;)
Did some V1 and V2 settings on the pcb.
Just to let you know... i have a Jayrob 405 G1 lens that i intended to use on that arctic.
But sinds i don't have the arctic anymore, i can send it to you in a envelop ^^ (regulair mail) ...if you'd like that is :)
It's specially made for (also) a arctic sinds it's tuff to determinate how deep the diode sits.

Euhmm, yeah other then that.. i'm happy for you... it's a nice laser for your collection, and happy it's in the right hands
And thankfull for the GB

To all others: hope you get your lasers soon :)
I'm awaiting all to arrive before i can do a review with the free goodies and all ^^

Cheers, Sm..

Hey!

You are receiving a pm regarding the lens, also you only have to wait for blord's his laser. Since only you and he get the more expensive gifts :) I suspect he gets it within a couple of days!

Thanks buddy

Sorry but its pretty sweet. I had no clue what it was at first but quickly figured it out and all I can say is wow. Doesn't take much to impress me.

I love the free gift! Probably the coolest thing ever. Please tell what the more expensive gift is though! I want to know! Also, Offroad, mine arrived yesterday(October 9th). Can you PM me and say what the more expensive orders got? (I wont spoil it--I promise)

Has anyone here ever considered actually using the remote connector switch, you know, remotely? It looks like it's just a standard 3.5mm jack. I have spare 3.5mm cables that I could cut one end off of and add a button. That way, I could turn on the laser with a switch from a distance. I don't see much of a use for this yet, but maybe I'll think of something later. Wait, do you have to perform the interlocks in a certain order? That could screw up my brilliant plan here.

I believe the connector on the end is a stereo connector where the end ties from 1 channel to the other for a ground.

Found it. It's explained in the Handheld/Portable Lasers manual from Skylaser. "The remote connector key is a way for you to control your portable laser remotely using an external on/off switch. To do this, cut the red wire in half breaking the circuit. Connect an external on/off switch (purchased separately) to the red wires (you may need basic circuit wiring skills to accomplish this). Please note you must have the power switch key turned on, lens cover opened, and power switch depressed for the external switch to work properly."

Perfect!

Good Laser news for me today: my 405nm 500mw Group Buy laser has shown up at the Sort Facility in NYC as of yesterday at 1:28PM via the USPS tracking site. Bases on past tracking experiences, I should have it within a week. Before this notification, it looked liked it was stuck somewhere in China. Also, my defective Dragon Lasers 100mw 532nm Hulk has arrived at Dragon Lasers in China (took 2 weeks) and the replacement should be sent out tomorrow.
