I don't think there's any real chance of those "460"s being above 460nm. They use the regular Osram 450nm diodes, which the datasheet lists as 440nm-460nm.
If you *do* get a 460nm it will be very different from 440nm for sure.

@cmak i am cool with that idea as long as that person is a trusted member from the forums.

Also i think the change of getting a freak diode is just as great as building a laser yourself. Laserbtb does not measure wavelengths. They only buy batches of diodes put them into lasers and lpm them.

It'd be cool if all the great builders of this forum had spectrometers and binned their diodes. If I were a builder I'd invest in one, I'm sure it would pay off in time. Bet a 460nm single mode laser would sell for double the price of a 445nm. Low reds and greens and high violets would also have a market.

Edit: a very low violet could even be in the UV range!

So have you been in touch with Kevin about the "low" turn out of this GB? Do you think it will happen if we dont hit our goal, which ATM doesnt look like we will. If the GB doesnt happen then I might as well start looking for parts to build my own 520nm

New member here, been lurking for months. Am interested in getting in on this GB, but wondering if I order the 532nm 1600mw will I recieve this or will customs confiscate it since I live in the U.S.

The "532nm 1600mw" does not exist...

The PL445 - 1600 does exist...

My understanding is anything over 500mw cannot be shipped into or sold in the U.S. unless it is component parts.

Is this accurate???

FYI, remove 2x 0's from your figure. the "legal" limit is 5mW but these are FDA approved

Yes, I've already figured that out that what is not listed as a GB, must be at regular price, unless it's free!! ! What is not a GB is just extra add-ons for me.

Why make a separate order for non GB items if I can have everything ship at once.

Awesome! Thanks for ordering! I will add you in the second post! @ livinloud do not gove up the gb yet if we get more orders like this then were ok.

Also laserbtb does not sell loose hosts. But you can get a laser shipped in parts to assemble it yourself. Blord did that. But with no warrantee though!

Well we have to draw the line somewhere. It would not be fair to give photon a discount and others with big orders not.
