Shipping is shipping. When I look at the pattern/timeframe from the same places though and it significantly changes that's when I mention it just to see if anyone else comments about noticing the same thing

Nice 405 laser! especially the GITD paint inside the aperture, makes it look very "nuclear" in a way 82mW when it's labelled as less than 5... hehe

I really like the uranium glass marbles, thank you for all of this They look good under 405 and 450!

How did you get the beam to render so well? I've tried taking pictures of my HL808 with various cameras and I guess they are all IR filtered, even the cell phone cameras. No beam at all except in total darkness, with smoke, but even then very faint. All the camera really sees is an orangish-white dot. My laser is 1000mW but surely something should be visible, assuming the image sensor can see it at all.

I dunno, my camera was on auto mode.
This is not what you see, but what only the camera can see.
It makes it look like, well IR ^^

For your own eye's you only see a faint red line.

You're most welcome Marco. You can unscrew the 405 cap all the way out to see what I basically do to make inexpensive pens focusable. Just need something to bridge the gap between lens and cap after removing the small amount of the loctite or glue or whatever they use to hold the plastic lens in place. I just use very thin needle nose pliers to stick in the 2 small lens holes to unscrew it. Then I Roughen the mating surfaces
(just scratch the plastic for more surface area), mix epoxy well, apply very carefully gluing to the lans first before the cap and now that way overspec pen can focus. The 650 and 405 are great little burners and fun to mess with since if it breaks you are hardly out any $. I only have some of the small marbles Would like some of the 1" ones but don't see them for sale anywhere.

If that thing is running off a couple 16340 cells I would have to wonder if even AW IMR are actually rated for whatever amps that thing is pulling. Would like to see that off of a couple Panasonic NCR18650PD. Need an extension tube for that monster. I know that my PL405-500 will fit (2) 18350 cells.

Yeah, i'm also wondering if i can use a different cell with perhaps a extension tube.

Just a note to everyone. I have severely injured my shoulder last night while drinking a beer with friends. I am only able to use one hand at the moment. It was so weird. I have been kickboxing and training for years and a simple fall on the shoulder caused the tendon to snap in my shoulder. I heard it snap when i fell the pain was immens! Good thing the hospital had pain pills this injury cannot be treated. At least the doctor said that the best thing to do is recover for 2 months and see what happens. Which is weirs because i can move the entire bone in my shoulder loosely :/

Anyway just a heads up that my forum activities are slowed down a bit now!

UGH! Have hurt myself too many times. Feel your pain. I keep crutches in a cedar chest standing by for the next "incident". If they gave you good pain meds maybe you'll see some laser colors not invented yet Anyways, sorry to hear that

I believe those panasonic PD cells are rated for 10amps which would certainly give you full output. Bought a couple when they came out from Fasttech $16 for a pair free shipping plus cheaper with a coupon.
Pretty much stick with AW IMR and Panasonic cells where I can. Wish they would come out with a 10440.


My lp532-150 just cleared US customs Hopefully NY and not CA.
Have holographic warning stickers, (3) 50mw Fasttech modules and 2 single aaa pens as well as a few pen hosts from Jay all coming this week YEAH for me 3 of 4 purchases from our members... nice.
