I'm going to eventually, just hoping it won't mess up the warranty... offroad can you check? I can send a picture of the beam on the threads...

Hey there :D yes this GB is closed everything is shipped and there are a few complaints that i am busy handling right now. After that the GB will be done. There is going to be a next GB with the 520 laser but you might want to go with blords offer since i dont exactly know when the next one is. :)

Well i think drilling the aperature would surely void warrantee. I mean any modification you do yourself is kinda voiding it. Kevin said that he just guarantee's 50mW. So yeah. But i red the datasheet of the diode (osram i believe). And it seems these diodes can output way more then 50mW. Except for the HL532-300mW models kevin usually underdrives the lasers. Cant seem to find the datasheet now though :thinking:

One of my PL cases was damaged when received. Is a photo okay to show this? Who should I send this to?

Mine was the same way sorta. All I did was put the edge down where it was suppose to be and put some super glue where the two joints met and it helped it. Its not perfect but mine was like that on the front and back.

Second or third that. One of mine was coming apart so I threw some epoxy in the edges and fixed it. Noticed that you better cut the foam down on the top if you are using it for anything that could push too hard on it. Will seperate like yours. At least it's an easy fix.

Got it! Sending mail with complaints this afternoon. Then is it kevin's move!

EDIT: If we do need to ship back lasers. Be sure to put in a not in the box with your complaint. This was not a demand but i think it makes it easer to proces for kevin.

Hey guys just sent complaints from the following members:

I made a word file for each member with their complaints/requests and video's/pictures. Now let us wait for the solution. :beer: I requested prepaid shipping options to minimize hassle with paypal and stuff.

Another small update most videos are youtube. In china youtube is blocked :/ so now i am downloading en resizing them to send them to kevin. Pretty shitty :p also lasers will be retested @25 celcius. Bare in mind that if tour laser is slightly underspec tre is a chance that you will have to pay for shipping.

You'll notice a room thermometer in all of my videos by the speaker, for that exact reason, though it's in Fahrenheit.

My videos are about 1gb in size, for all of them, I can upload them somewhere if that helps?

If Kevin sees different results, he'll provide a videos as well? I'm starting to run low on trust and high on frustration where he is concerned.

It's also worth noting the temperature range stated for the lasers is much greater...

Now I can guarantee based on experience, that all green DPSS lasers that I own from SKY, will perform like crap in 10 Degrees...

The diode lasers might perform better though.

No i will just download them from youtube. They are smaller that way too. So no worries. Trust is not really the problem. The shipping back end making videos and all that stuff is just shit :p too difficult too long of a proces.

Get back to you guys asap

I hope the experience does not put you off about doing a GB #3.

You have really done an amazingly good job and performed a great service running this GB for the forum and people buying!
