Hey guys whatsup?

So were are into the resolving issues thing. I don't want to make this any longer then needed for anybody so i am putting up a deadline for sending the video's in. I have only received video's from ONE member (kadath) and i believe there were more complaints right?

So i will send all the video's on March the 1st!. So please send in your video's within the week. If you cannot make that let me know within this time.

After i sent the video's kevin will respond with returning labels.

Update: got my pen laser in today. Glad to confirm it was right on spec at just over 80 mw. in thing i did notice that was different then the 532nm is that the 450nm is a momentary push button where as the 532nm had 2 modes a constant on and a flashing. interesting.

Not so good update. One of the HL532 50mW laser I received died. I gave it away to a friend for his birthday... he messaged me today saying it's not working.

Will be picking it up tuesday to confirm for myself, but if he says it's dead, I'm 99% sure that it is... he is far more familiar with electronics in general, than I am.

That brings the total to right now to six out of eleven lasers from sky having issues. I'm kind of afraid of retesting all of them now :undecided:

I'm sure it will get sorted. Just not a pleasant experience... I don't feel nearly enough quality control went into this GB on skylasers part.

Yes it is a shame. I also informed kevin about it. In the first GB i told kevin that must be certain of every laser he shippes out because we are hobbyists that look at everything. So not doing it right this time certainly blows in his own face now. That with my mail about how next time should be i am sure he will do it right next time. Better to have a longer shipping process with 100% good lasers then fast shipping with a few underspecs and a DOA.

Offroad - So i'm completely out of the loop and trying to get back in it; From what I get from t he posts and title, GB#2 is closed... (yes?) -- Is there a chance of a GB#3 that will include the PL520?

You could have my PL520 laser. I find the PL host a little bulky and the smaller HL host is perfect adequate for a 50mW laser.

^ Just be warned with the HL that you may need to expand the aperture hole for the beam to come out fully, meaning losing compatibility with the diffraction heads. Personally having diffraction sheets myself, it doesn't bother me at all :p

Edit: and if aryntha does get it, let us know if there's a significant color difference between this and the "510's". I'm really curious if I need to buy a 510nm rated diode haha

Did you enlarge the aperture hole with the HL host ? The diffraction head have even smaller diameter hole.
