Hmmmm,
I wonder, if everyone here took their most powerful handheld/portable and pointed it towards New Orleans the beginning of the Superbowl halftime at say an elevated 15º angle off of horizontal to the ground, would we see each other?

I LPM'd my lasers! My 100mW HL460 hit 92mW. It likes being cold, for I got a 5mW jump after leaving it outside for a couple minutes. I think if I leave the laser outside for a while longer, and then test it, it would hit over 100mW. My 300mW HL532 hit 395mW (this one also likes being cold, but it heats up too fast). It's not the most stable laser I have, but it wasn't moving around too much after its peak (just a very slow decline in power). I have some goggles that block 532nm but pass IR (I'm not sure how much it passes, but I assume 50% or greater), so I tested the IR output of the HL532 by placing my goggles in front of the beam, and it read 20mW. Based on my assumptions, I'd estimate the IR at 30mW to 50mW, which still leaves my laser overspec with pure 532nm light. My 500mW HL405 from the last groupbuy hit 495mW (10mW jump after being cold, so I'll retest this one, too), so it's just right about on-spec. I'll post here again with my chilled readings tonight.

K. just added up all of my lasers including everything under 100mw and have 14.33W.
I taped them all together with duct tape but melted my beam expander so I'm out:na:

Chinese New Year is next Sunday. I sure hope my second batch ships before then, then again I am still waiting for my first batch because of Fed Ex imcompetence

Hoping to get the rest of my order so it is complete also. Don't have the tracking number yet but I'm sure Offroad has a life outside of all this and he'll get to it:p

Don't forget make the aperture hole bigger. A part of the light is blocked by the sticker.

I wonder if Smeerworst did the mod too on his PL660-1000 laser from the first GB.

Got my tracking number but it doesn't show up yet in Fedex system:rolleyes: Actually it says "No record of this tracking number can be found".
Anyone elses show this? Thought that when a tracking number is issued it shows up at least:confused:
Then again, I believe that a businees can print a label locally and stick it on a package and it's not in the system until Fedex picks it up/scans it. Could be wrong.... too many different answers on the net:p

well my Red just showed up so i did a quick LPM test and she hit a max of 1.44W. :eek:

Side Note: I didn't recieve a 460nm Pen laser but instead a 532nm laser

Goodness I feel bad for you guys, I'd had my laser for days, I'm almost bored of it already :p lol Not. I do hope your laser come soon. :D
