Marco, I do believe you WILL need a PayPal account.
To my recollection, they do not accept payments for the Group Buy any other way.

I'll be ready to pay this Friday if you start early payment. I'm excited to see 1 watt of 650! And curious to see where I land in the lottery roll of over-spec 532 hl 300's. Crossing my fingers for one of those 500mw+ units.

Makes no difference to me whether payment is right now, or on the 14th. An extra week would make a difference, but a few days won't

@Offroad, can you ask Kevin what the duty cycle on the HL445 1W is supposed to be?

Also is the HL460 80mW available...? It's listed for the same price as the 460nm pointer, using the same diode I would assume. Personally I would really prefer the handheld over the pen.

From what I see on their site, it shows the HL as a 100mw. I had noticed the price was the same for either one though. Very interesting.....

Yup, same. I'm not really a pen fan at all... definitely down for one of the handhelds if we can get a GB discount on it though. It's been far too long since I got a new wavelength.

Yup. Was thinking about the 808 but I would rather go with the hl460.

I really don't understand getting IR lasers. I just don't see the appeal if you can't see the beam, or shoot it through a diffraction grating.

Hats off to Skylasers for giving us two free diffraction tips with each handheld.

And of course to Offroad and Kevin for putting up with the never ending questions and request

Wonder if you get difraction gratings with the 808 since they are supposedly coming with each HL

Yeah I know but it's a "color" I don't have (I call it "invisible death"). I would also need glasses for it unless I stick the filters I ordered over my eyes

I would for sure get the HL460 if it exists. I've been wanting a lower-powered blue for the longest time now, and I just wasn't that impressed when I saw that it was being made as a pointer. Couldn't Kevin just make the same laser with the same 80mW diode but in the HL host? I'd like to know what he thinks about that.

Is it a single-mode OSRAM diode? Could you please send me a link? I can't find it (the whole site has been disorganized lately).

Edit: I'm also really curious to know if these diodes are really 460nm.

It is no regular 445nm i believe it is somewhat different. If it is precisely 460nm i dont know. I think blord can answere that since he made them.

also the products are mostly overspec. I would not be suprised if the pen was just as strong as the HL.

It's on the same page as the HL445 lasers, right in the middle:

HL 405nm 445nm 100-1000

Overspec would be great, but I really, really, prefer handhelds over pen style lasers. IMO the handheld looks cooler, and is also much more durable. If it's a difference of $5 that's really a no brainer at all to me.

What was the question about goggles btw? Do Skylasers have a relationship with EaglePair at all?

I see. I am writing all question down now. I honestly did not know that skylaser sold goggles two days ago :tinfoil: It seems that they are adding new products lately. That one styl really looks like the eagle pair but i dont think it is..

Put me down for a 460nm 80mw pen please. In white if possible.

Pen lasers rock IMO, easy to pocket and easy to carry is a big part of what makes a laser great!
