Would like a set of AL3 in style 35 if I didn't miss it.
Thanks

Re: GB for OEM Laser Systems protective eyewear

I heard back from everyone I needed to. Since it is so late in the afternoon here, I will accept any stragglers that want to jump on the band wagon. This GB will officially close on Friday, July 9th at 09:00 MST. Cexshun and vegasf6, email me your confirmations and include your locations.

The GB is closed... but I threw you in. You're the last straggler. ;)

I'm waiting to hear back from OEM on the price.

I'm so glad this is moving along! To think that there was a concern about getting enough people; orders are still coming in!

This GB opportunity is working out great for me. Just in time for <1W of 445nm to be delivered (in theory), awesome price, and I was recently considering buying some regular sunglasses with a color tint (some funky overpriced Oakleys or something). I had a pair of yellow tinted sunglasses years ago and I kinda miss them.

Now I get nifty yellow shades that serve a practical purpose!

(Don't mind my giddiness, I'm just happy to see positive progress on one of my laser-related orders. I'm not naming names... *cough*wicked*cough*)

Many many thanks to extelon, daguin, Scopeguy20, and FrothyChimp for making it possible!

Just a note for anyone catching this thread too late: FrothyChimp said the coupon code (HOBBYDISCOUNT) for 7.5% off will be available until July 20, so you can still get some money off of OEM eyewear if you missed this GB.

I've forgotten what lens model I have. It is 180-395nm OD5+; 395-540nm OD3+

I was checking for dead diodes before harvesting another 140 last night. With my O.E.M. goggles, even with 24 diodes pumping out 445nm ~700mW each, I have to look at the wall to see blue light :D

O.E.M.

We just sent out the quote to extelon. He's been working hard on this so I imagine you will be getting your prices soon.

@Dave, we will get the shipping extras sent out to you once we get your address before the filters arrive.

How much did you see?

With the ARG filters I´m on the safer side, but hopefully that there are more objects fluorescing than I think. I´m not interested in seeing 100% nothing :can:

I did NOT look directly into the beam. I only observe from an angle to see if there are any dark "lenses" in the array. I can see the lenses lit up and I can see the spots on the wall. I can see no beam. This is as it should be. Use the goggles to set up and adjust the experiment. After you know where the beam will go and how it will terminate, then take them off to enjoy the show.

Peace,

I don't think it will cause any confusion, but you have my handle wrong in the first post.

I'm working on totaling everyone's individual price... I'm about done. Once I get it all set and triple check everyones order, I'll PM everyone their total.

I don't think it will cause any confusion, but you have my handle wrong in the first post.

Sorry about that... I've updated it.
