Anyone can get a Refund at any time if they dont feel like waiting anymore.

Iam not sure how long Iam going to wait but say i give up in a month. I will refund everyone even if they want to wait longer.

At this Point it is Not a GB. Think of it as We all have separate orders in but iam Just managing the orders.

So again you can get a Refund at any time or wait until the end when I give up and Pull my order out which by then they have exhausted all there resources and its 100% that they cannot get anymore of those original diodes.

But there still trying.

What appears to me is the diodes i first received looked to be New old stock right before they switched to the dual WL ones. This is my guess. It might not be correct. This could be why it is so difficult to find them because no one has anymore of them and now all have the duals.

We see if we get lucky. I told them even if they can find 10 or whatever ill take them and split it up randomly among you guys.

So again if you want a refund just ask me. Its that simple. You wont be hurting my feelings if you do I promise.

SO at the end of the day everyone will get a refund. You will get it either now by requesting it or at the end when there is No Option and i refund everyone that is left that is waiting.

On another note I got the 1W mits500 runnin on that 1.4A X-drive in a C2 with the X-blank.. I need more of these great drivers... Works great with 1 18650 or 2 18350's!

Angelos you've gone through enough trouble for us over this. You also have done a lot of other work in testing and providing us with lots of info feedback that has been very valuable to all of us man. For me if they come in they come in, if not keep my part for work you've done and future diode tests!

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to give this Update.

Well I received some more samples that me and the supplier thought maybe it was a Newer Model or whatever it can be called of the original diode i received that maybe they switched to a slightly different can package.

Well After getting the 2 diode samples I found them to be NO Different then the Duals other then the Fact that THe (IR + Pin) Was Cut short to where it is not usable.

It appears that these diodes are Gone. I dont think its Possible to get them anymore.

However there is 1 last place we are going to try before i think its time to call it.

Ive been going crazy trying to find them guys i really have but luck has not been on our side.

Within the Next 2 weeks. Probably to wards the end of the 2 weeks i will know and UPDATE WHEN I GET ANY NEWS.

Its either going to be YES or NO.

Those that waited with me on there own Decision will be getting a Refund if we dont get the diodes.

With the Money I had in iam probably going to get the Dual WL ones. There still cool diodes and there cheap.

The Duals are $5 each so if anyone wants any of those instead then just let me know when it comes to when iam getting ready to refund. It will only take 1 week to get them in since they are already still in the USA.

We are shooting for a long shot here on the Original diodes But if we where going to get lucky now is the time.

We got 1 last place to try. 2 Weeks and you will hear from me.

Thanks everyone that was Patient in this. Unfortunately it dragged on longer then we all expected but at the end we just lost some time in waiting and nothing more. We found out there is indeed some freak nice Reds out there But to get them its very hard.

Iam not giving up yet but to say the least if we cant get them i promise to always keep an eye out for them.

Trust me. These diodes have really eaten away at me. Red is my Favorite.

How much power do the dual wavelength ones give? I never heard of them before

They are Equal to around what an LPC-815/826 Can do.

They have a Dual WL and the other WL is 780nm.

THey are 3.8mm in size.

Sounds really cool! Any datasheet for those dual WLs? I didn't even know those existed. Is the output the same for 660nm as 780? For 5 bucks thats amazingly cheap...

I think there is a Datasheet in the old threads from years ago. I cant remember.

I dont know to much about the Duals also. I think its ~ The same output as each other. But i could be wrong.

I think i Might even be able to get them cheaper then $5 if i Remind them how long we all waited.

Sure thing. You can get as many Duals as you want and as well get a partial refund. It is Not a Problem.

Also you said you think the duals are similar to the 815/826's, but are you planning to do any testing (like you did with the GB reds) to give us an idea of the best/max current etc? :beer:

I'll wait till the end, but if it comes down to it, I'd rather have a refund than the dual wl diodes. I think I already have a couple of them.

Or maybe you have some other stuff for sale I could use the money for? I have been wanting a nice AAA host.
