I can't believe that it's going so fast, that people are reserving their spot on batch 3, while batch 1 is still paying! THANKS AMK! I want a back-up if my GGW shits the bed, since I've heard quite a good bit today about their quality not being as top notch as they should be. But the GGW I'm getting is super cheap, so I'm willing to risk it

Batch one is all paid for. Supplier is sending me a paypal invoice (no Western Union this time, yaaay!), as soon as I pay that invoice I will open payments for batch two.

Still taking commitments for batch three. And yes, I agree, these are going like hot cakes!

Also, if any of you don't know yet, I was on a business trip in *a foreign country*, and I need to be on a 20 hour flight back to california on wednesday, June 2nd. When I send the payment to the supplier today, he should ship right away (I told him to be ready to ship 50 units anywhere up to June 5th, talked to him last week). From there, It should take a good 4-5 business days to get here with UPS freight. Then there is packing/labeling/postage time, so another 2 days (non-business days included) for me to get those sorted out and off to the post office!

If he doesn't show up someone from batch two can take his spot, and someone from batch three will get moved to batch two... Either that or someone from batch one can cover his order

First please let me say I'm not trying to rain on your GB I realy do wish everone gets the best diodes
But you say you haven't dealt with them befor that means these diodes can be totaly different from what any one here has tested befor. We found this out painfully with 6x GGW diodes that even the same vendor can have widely varing quality of diodes.
Yes please check several to see if they are like what we have come to expect Thanks !

Pyro, read the text that you quoted. In fact, read it twice.

If you look a little closer, I said "I Have dealt with these guys before".

many people on the forum have worked with these guys before too.

As for the diode itself, I have never worked with an SF-AD210, but this guy is who everyone on the forum gets the sleds from.

I will do a longevity/analysis/stress test on these diodes as soon as the "amk HighTEC tester" is up and running (props to jay for the name )

EDIT: Even though I am completely confident that these are the right diodes, anyone is welcome to buy one and test it. This is not my "product", I am running a group buy. I take no responsibility for the sleds themselves. All I do is guarantee you are actually getting SF-AD210s. If I was making a profit I would assume liability for whatever, but please do remember, as a participant in a group buy, you assume all liability and risks which include (but are not limited to): Not getting what you expected, any damage the end product causes, and what happens to the sled once it is out of my hands and in the post.

That being said and done, most of the members on here who actually know me will agree that I am a reputable group buy organizer, and that I will not rip you off or give you sh*t sleds.

OK guys, DRASTIC UPDATE

this may be ok for some, and not for others: the diodes are actually didoes... not sleds... they are pre harvested and in heatsinks...

I told him to take a picture with the product and next to it a paper with "05/30/210 2:46 AMK" written in pen. He did so, but I was shocked to find out that I am not buying sleds... I am buying diodes...

He said he can give me a few of the sleds for teh optics, because I know someone on here wanted the optics...

You can choose to have the sled instead of the didoe, but an extra $1.50 charge will be added for extra shipping costs that I will have to pay. Diode will be shipped in antistatic baggies. Sleds may be a little beaten up, but the didoes are in perfect condition.

I wanted to get sled full with optics and LOC Red diode, not just BR diode.

ON the payment page there is an option at the botom that says "Donation", just add that to cart, change "amount" (it will become changeable) to $1.50, and for the reason put "Sled instead of Diode".

EDIT: Pictures are also proof these are SF-AW210s, the model numbers on the sleds are clearly visible and he has my timestamp so he didn't just give me a picture off the forums (this is what happened with my 6x GB in the December of 2008)
