I got may packages Saturday. Thank you!!

I'd be up for another Batch, as mine are essentially gone already.

Wait... I was about to take the diodes over to the post office when I found a discrepancy in the final count...

Badger was put down for 3 on the first page but I received payment for one... did he post saying he only wanted one?!?! if so I now have 2 sleds that need to be sold ASAP... US buyer preferred.

Hmm, you're right. Man, I thought I paid for three, but from the bill, yup, just one. I must not have put the quantity in right or something. Stupid me! :\

Wow, my one sled arrived today. It's like those Chinese went to great lengths to smash up the sled as much as possible. All of the diodes and their ribbons were completely detached from the sled.

Oh yeah, and thanks for your hard work amkdeath. I dropped the ball on those other two sleds.

Mine got in today!! The first picture is from the outside of one of them, looks pretty much like previous GB ones, no suprise there, quite smashed up.

However, in one of them I found nice surprise inside!! Filled what looks like vomit!!! It really is disgusting :barf:

Oh... so you want a close up??!! Here you go

I don't think I can salvage anything on the right side.

Oh... did I mentioned that small bad... :barf:

In any case, thanks for your hard work amkdeath!!

Whow, sled puke for the loss?

In one of my sleds the red diode is not even soldered to the ribbon, its just sitting there next to it (win!)

Another one has no salvageable optics, but the other two have most everything still intact (double win!)

Thanks again for doing this buy!

Wow rev0 you got some good ones.
My first order I could just shake the sled and the diodes just fell out.
Not one optic was missed by the sledge hammer ;)

Recieved today they look great.

I don't think I can top the puke either. with 2o sleds, nearly all 405 diode blocks were loos with a few aluminum sleds shattered- yes, it made extraction as simple as shaking out the parts.

With the 405 diode removal from the blocks, I did not even need to cut the sides of the rectangular block. Is that what others have seen? I just grabbed both sides with vice grips, twisted slightly and bent the blocks (more like stressing them) away from the diode leads. The diodes mostly slipped out with tweezers.
I have used a diamond wheel on a dremel before for these types of blocks, but this was not needed on these (like we do for PHR's).

Yup. I searched for an extraction video on Youtube and thought to myself, "wow, that easy?", and it certainly was. Just had to twist it back and forth a bit and the diode slid out cleanly (though one of them required more twisting than the other 3).

Sled puke.... wtf...

I donno what to say, It's partially the reason why I stopped this GB. It seemed like after every batch the sleds got worse and worse. The first batch had about 30 perfectly new sleds, then the rest were a little damaged. Batch two had some more severely damaged sleds, but all optics and diodes were harvest-able. This batch has a sled with "puke" in it. Yea....

the three sleds that were bought (kiyo, etc) will be shipped out tomorrow, I am sorry. I was visiting campuses for College, and I will be off of the LPF from Friday to the following thursday, as I am visiting some east coast campuses.
