Kiyoukan, i linked some 30k galvos sets on laserchat. Cheapest I found was $196 worldwide but they included 2 drivers and a psu as well as a galvo mount. You are getting them for 166.0$ before shipping. Is it really worth it?

I am there they want 213$ shipped vs mine which is 175 roughly shipped. almost a 40$ difference.

Just to be clear, these are PT-30k scanners we're talking about here right? If so, I am in for that ~$166 sans reshipping price. That essentially saves me the entire cost of shipping from China direct ($45).

Kiyoukan, another guy in CT is interested depending on re-shipping costs.. in which case I will be taking 2 sets. , the price you gave for int. to South Africa for TWO SETS is 25-40$ right? Just double checking that was two, not one.

thats around 190$ shipped to South Africa. now i can fit 2 to 3 in a box without a problem. so if you order 2 shipped it will still be very close to 25$ but it helps the cost per unit.

ALSO REMEMBER TO Calculate PAYPAL Fee when the money is sent they take 3% plus .03$ i made a mistake before and forgot and lost a good bit of money on a GB wound up in the whole around 90$.

Technically my birth day is in October so it would not be far off saying happy birth day but i have to look into the rules in gifting money on paypal.

Okay everyone we are very very close.
If all is right to my count we have over 15 people said they want to commit.
Now 2 of those people were not 100% sure so we may only have 14.
But if they commit we have 16.
I pmed the others that are white and they have not msged me back so im going to take it as they dont want to be apart.
I am going to go threw and checking some things out and once im ready i will post my paypal account along with shipping totals based on where you live.
Im going to go to the post office and pull up rates and have them sign it so i know i can get the same price when i go back and no one tries to screw us.

Two sets. I don't want to cause any extra work/problems for anyone but @ 50$ shipped its gonna essentially cost me the same direct from S-L.
If you want me to pay a bit extra for the trouble - yourself or Omar then let me know. I understand time is money and organizing isn't easy. I hope to help with the group buy with its numbers too.

I dont want to ever have one of my GB go the way of being a hassle for any one.
If it is indeed going to cost more to have to ship them from the china to the US and back to SA. i will se what the price would be to have your units shipped to SA directly along with the price of 1 unit shipped to Greece.

some updated info.
(1) 2 units to south africa: 2*150=300$, shipping cost=81$, paypal(3%)=11$, total cost= 462$
(2) 1 unit to greece: 1*150=150$, shipping cost=35$, paypal(3%)=5$, total cost=190$
(3) 15 unit to USA: 15*150=2250, shipping cost=161$, paypal(3%)=72$, total cost=2483$
so to SA might not be so good even direct it might seem that no matter how i ship to SA its just going to cost.
Please check with sam to find out the order price of 2 units shipped to sa from what my supplier tells me it going to be expensive. around 45$ a unit. so maybe a better deal to go with sam or it may not be.

That shipping is strangely expensive. Is that some express option? A standard tracked parcel does not cost that much unless there is a healthy markup there too.
