I'll bet it was a computer or a diode in the wiring harness. they like to hide those puppys.
Glad to hear you got it fixed. I was going to stop by and lend a hand, but I have no idea where LaserTown is. :)

Thanx guys... I was in an amazing mood all day just knowing my baby is back to life again... WITH A/C!! ;D

Still needs a couple small things, but I'm not worried about that right now :)

They changed... well... lots... :-[ Cost a bunch too dammit... the guy there was nice and fixed a couple things for free (fuse-related), which I truly appreciate... but amongst the list were fuses, wiring, chips, sensors... etc... etc... :-/

The funny thing is my original problem ended up costing me $180 ($100 for a freon flush to make sure things were alright, and $80 for parts including a fuse and a high-pressure sensor), but the final price was several times that much!!! :mad:

I love the car still and wouldn't ever own anything other than a German... that thing saved my life (mostly due to my crazy driving) many... MANY... times ;) ;D

Thank you guys very much for the support and understanding though. I appologize for any delays and will try to get the orders out to you all ASAP (tomorrow morning hopefully). :)

Thanx;
DDL

Man...I would take 10 AMPS of current and run it through that guy and see how he likes it!

BTW, I feel the same towards my car. The A/C is out in it..lol...but I don't think it's anything serious. I am hoping it just needs to be recharged. It is a 1991 MR2 non turbo with automatic...I love it!

Daedal - anything that could get you that wound up had to be serious ! I cannot imagine you pissed off for some reason - too easy going :) Glad it all got worked out, though, and you are back on the road again !

I think we should go find that mechanic and sit him on a metal chair attached to ground while probing him until 10A current flows to every point touched. Hmm, I wonder what voltage that would be! [smiley=evil.gif]

May a Vac-Ion pump find it's way through his body to ground!! [smiley=evil.gif]

Glad it's all worked out.

Man, that was a fast boat. ;) Thanks for all your effort.

Thank you all very much... :D :D

Glad to say I have all the US shipments packaged already :D :D

Gotta talk to the post office tomorrow morning about the proper shipping procedure for the Int'l packages ;)

They're still not labeled as that would take me a couple of hours... I'll try to get it all done tomorrow for you guys :-[

By the way, Aseras... do you want me to just give you your package at the FLEM 1.5 meet? I'm gonna be there if you are ;)

Thank you all again... I truly appreciate your kind words and feelings towards that mechanic (mine are much worse... believe me :cool:)

DDL like I told someone(can't remember and too lazy to look it up) in the experiment forums, if you label them as Samples with no resale value you shouldn't need any international docs. (ie no commercial invoice or SED)

if you have more questions about the shipping let me know, I work for DHL, i'll help as best I can =)

I'll definitely use that Archane... samples or gift is what I'll use then (I always marked them as gift before ;))...

I do appreciate your offer too, but what I wanted to clear out was the shipping size... which apparently the envelopes I bought are not good... and need to get other ones... they will be shipped out ASAP guys... promise :)

Thanx;

I can't wait to see what I can burn in my eye with these. :eek:

Pretty stupid story. When I just started messing around with lasers a while back, I gutted an old CDRW drive. Must have been an old 4x or something. Ripped out the diode and put it straight to a AA battery. Looked kinda faint, can barely see a speck of a red dot. So I took my magnifying glass to get a closer look. Must of been staring at that thing for a few minutes with each eye, amazed at how cool the little red dot was. I decided to put 2 AAs to it, and of course it didn't work after that. I just hope I didn't cauterize the back of my eyes too much. But oh well, they're all jacked up from cataract surgery anyway.. :eek:
