My comment was not an attempt to derail this GB. As someone listed, maybe even UV- I say to email me, not do PM. I have not been in here since my post. Why should I hang here? I offer great prices and people shop elsewhere- cool. It is like what was siad , good competition. If you look at my post, it says "work to get." That not an offer, sorry. It seems the prices of G@'s are too high, and the margin is low for me. If people are paying $30 to $50 then don't blame me. Maybe there's value added, not sure. I know that at the time, members were quoted $80 for sinle item prices of a G1. I sold them for under $25. I had barrels at 10.5mm that accepted 5.6mm diodes and people still demanded 12mm diameter. Not sure why. Was it because they were led like cattle to a cheap 12mm body that sold for $10, and then $6 each? Maybe. Where was the outcry when those unit likely cost under $1 when made and had crappy threads? Hey, competition. With drill in hand, amny still wanted to drill a 12 mm hole in their heat sink rather than buy a 10.5 mm module body. Hey, I have 3.3mm diameter modules. The insustry is getting smaller. The hobby stays at 12mm. I offered module bodies with adjustable focus and G-2 lens for under $30 back on ebay. Anyway, I have 200 G2's I could sell in an instant without any GB. Hardly any LPF members ever contact me. I'm talking to manufacturers about this , but the $6 was based on much higher quantities. I buy thousands now. If I bought 10K, then I can discuss a lower price, other ws I can lower my price, etc. This is one GB, there will be others, and on different forums like PL, etc. I'm not saying there must bea 10,000 pice GB, but I was also commenting when it seemed the price of the elns was growing higher and higher with shipping fees discussed, etc. And yes, I also wanted the name changed , thanks. So I used the word "work." I can work on this as I already have. I am sorry some got the wrong idea, and waited for my reply. I'm glad the GB is closed. I'd also offer to trade a G2 for one of these lenses (US, email). Maybe more people should stay in touch and see what we can do for future projects.
