FYI for anyone who doesn't already know, these sleds also contain the SmOc (Small Open can) diode, just finished harvesting both diodes. The 405 is doing 333ma and seems like a hot diode, she burns almost as well as my s06 doing 450ma. I haven't fired up the SmOc yet, still need to turn an adapter collar or make my own module. Anyone have an extra M9x0.5 tap they would be willing to sell?
For the price these sleds are a great deal, i'd recommend getting one before they're gone!

Sorry for the double post guys but I was wondering if anyone has noticed if their 8x diode has the small "x" stamped just under the 2d barcode. I know my 10xBDR-S06 diodes have the same stamp but I have not heard of the 8x's having this. Could it be that these sleds Scopeguy20 is getting actually have a "better" diode than the 8x's harvested from drives? If so we could be getting 10x/12x 405nm diodes + the 3.8mm SmOc for $28

Please check out the other Thread, in the "Laser Pro Shop" I am soon to get 12X BDR-S06J sleds, but ran out of the 8X BDR's, and I do have LPC-826 as well as PHR's and LPC815. T/Y! -Glenn
