That's been asked so many times recently w/out an answer, my guess is no. Close to what he mentions in the first post, is what I heard (read).

I am guessing they will cost about $25, but that is before shipping. I don't think they will cost much to send as they are small even in a housing. They c/b a dollar or two up or down, but that shouldn't stop any of us. Just my USD 0.02 worth. ;)

Your USD .02 isn't worth anything anymore.
(speaking of that, lets get these paid for soon, so they don't end up costing us U.S. people $100.00 each after money exchange)

Stupid US economy... I'm considering "investing" my money in some GBP or Euros  ;D

I'm sure that's partly the reason Igor doesn't want to post a (USD) price because of the now seemingly ever fluctuating value of the US Dollar... thanks G.W.  ::)

Doesn't help that we're now on the "verge" of "economic crisis" because banks and other lenders screwed up and gave out too much money and now our president wants to bail them out with $700 million billion...

IIRC, it was 700 billion, not million... That is quite a difference.
700 millions is(are) 700.000.000, while 700 billions is(are?) 700.000.000.000....

Re: 405nm AR glass lenses - fit AixiZ  FEELER

and after all the administration, etc, they're saying about 1.6 TRILLION... honestly...  i wish I was making that up.

I've got a good reliable car, a big garden, a few guns...  I set let the cards fall down!.  We dont need a bailout.  I think most of us could learn to live for a long time w/ very little monty.  Only thing I'd miss would be hobbies like this where I need supplies from around the world.   The only people a crash will truly hurt are the super rich.  F'em.
Let americans learn how to work for a living again, and actually MAKE things..  We can't survive as a society of consumers, where our only industries are those that support consumers. (And yeah.. I have a technology consulting business, and only 3 or 4 out of about 100 clients are actually in manufacturing. The rest are magazines and lawyers and retail outlets, and just industries that support consumers)

sorry for the off topic..

Well during Bush's reign we've seen:

The fateful day of 9/11 (so many lost their lives)
The patriot act implemented (so many lost their constitutional rights)
The Iraqi war (so many tax payers lost billions or even trillions of dollars)
The WMD scare (so many lost precious weeks of their lives worrying about that bologna)
The oil crisis (so many lost the ability to even fill up their tanks)
The economic crash on Wall Street (so many lost their jobs and many more lost their investments)

Worst president ever???  :-/

So the economy is in a slump. what do we do? no we dont work our way out, we "Borrow" our way out. borrowing only digs more "slumps" further down the road that we might get stuck in if government continues to drive blindly like it has been doing for some time now... we need someone who opens their eyes.

Re: 405nm AR glass lenses - fit AixiZ  FEELER

I don't consider Bush liable for the recent credit crunch or 9/11. The gears were already in motion for 9/11, but as for the credit crunch, it was a dysynergy of unscrupulous lenders, stupid and irresponsible American debtors, and foreign countries buying up that debt up too. I hope this results in some nice blacklists for a lot of Americans so they can't even attempt to buy property without good credit ratings, and even moreso for folk who defaulted on loans because they figured they'd just rather take the credit hit.

The oil crisis was/is just a sign of the time: emerging countries all wanting a piece of that oil pie. It's like crediting Clinton for the tech boom and bust: inevitable. Iraq War and Patriot Act: definitely Bush. WMD scare? I wasn't scared, though the pressure did manage to flip Libya, which was manufacturing some. People have short memories about such things.

Am I better off now than I was 5 years ago? I sure as hell am, but then again I wasn't an idiot like many people. For the presidency... none of them seem that enticing. Obama would be more attractive if he didn't have that MPAA/RIAA stooge Biden. McCain's backwards running mate is a putz too. At least Vice Presidents hold virtually no power. Both parties are stool from the same anus, and I've been equally disappointed by both parties.

But at least I'm well off enough that I can afford lenses for my lasers! Best to be thankful for small pleasures.

I love a good debate.  I have done my share of threadjacking as well.  However, this is a thread about the new lenses IgorT is researching and getting made.  There is a whole section called "off topic" where you can debate this 'till everyone is talked out.  IMNSHO this has gone on too long as a threadjack

Peace,
dave

I watch quietly for the price, time and place to order lenses.
Manwhile, I don't like any of the candidates or major parties either.
