Got some good new guys! The projector has just been ordered and is expected to be at my door between Dec. 9-17 i believe it was, it usually comes in pretty quick from places and its a wider time frame becuase i got it off ebay becuase i found a superb deal cheaper than anywhere else online. so now the anti static bags are on the way and the projector will be on its way tomorrow! i will keep everyone updated!

i will most likely be doing another one of these buys, however the price may go up a little as the price of the projectors has gone up somewhat and im just about breaking even on this one with shipping and packaging supplys

Y'all will find, fairly quickly, that the stock lens out of the projector is pretty useless for our applications. Remember, the projector does NOT need any focused beams. It just needs a bright blue light. It even has optics in it specifically designed to make the blue light into a blob. If you want these diodes to produce what we want in a laser beam, you are going to have to get another lens (AixiZ, 405-G-1, etc.)

test load update:
okay guys, so i just received the diodes yesterday for the test loads and bought the resistors and dip switches today. unfortunatey, they store i went to only had 4 dip switches in stock and i need eight. So i think ill make the ones i can, send them to llxpntbllxll and he will send them to the people who live internationally so he can save some cash. and the other people who dont live outside the US will get theres sent by me.
is everyone cool with that?

I have completed 5 test loads. I will go back to the electronics shop tomorrow and see if they have the DIP switches back in stock. if not, then i guess we will have to wait a little longer.
EDIT: but i will be sending the completed test loads to llxpntbllxll tomorrow.
