Yeah, that's awesome stuff. I like to see that stuff happening (being worked on, tried), even if it fails.
Reading that, I hope it doesn't just break and shut down like the big underground Cern accelerator embarassment. On the other hand, imagine if they're onto something, and underestimate what's released? Might make a bright spot of the Western US...
