looking for company's that make these
does anyone know of any cheap ones to use for experiments or have one that is willing to sell.

my price range is <$1000 or are there none even close? i dont need one that is fast at all as long as it dosent take more than like 10-15 sec

i hope i didnt place this in the wrong forum

any suggestion on what i should i use for flashlights and lasers? one that works with external light sources not internal
and definitely not a mass spectrometer

im going to probably use this to test if the 7in 1 laser unit truly has the yellow at yellow. among other things

Ocean Optics makes nice spectrometers. You can be sure that a 7in1 laser has no true yellow. I mean, 7 in 1 sounds more like a detergent than a laser.
