Would be important to pick a high quality combining mirror too, very high transmission at one wavelength (>99%) and very high reflection at the other (also >99%), otherwise you're going to introduce losses and other problems. Helps that two wavelengths are quite far apart.

Of course it isn't. My diagram doesn't even give cavity or focal lengths. It's just something I spent 10 minutes on to show how you can have 2 crystals lasing on different frequencies within the same cavity.

It was never intended to be an actual design schematic.

Diachi, I lost the ability to reference link 1 in your post #10 again. Was looking back to see how the PPKTP crystal was produced.
