Does any one know where I could find detailed information about the transmissive/reflective properties of known laser wavelengths, specifically IR?

In other words, say you have a laser beam of a certain IR wavelength, is there something that can tell you what sorts of materials will absorb the beam, and which will reflect or pass the beam? Some of this I have found out myself, with my YAG and CO2 laser, but there are other wavelengths that the average person would never encounter that I'm interested in, like 1.315 um. Just out of idle curiosity, but it would be interesting to know about atmospheric transmission, transmission thru transparent substances like glass, and reflectivity of metals like aluminum and steel.

It would be even better to find the same sort of info about all of the EM spectrum and not just lasers....
