10/10:wave: Some questions are tricky tho, but then some are not I love nuclear power, and I really wish more money/brains were being spent on improving the problem points. The hot thing now is alternative enery, not improving nuclear waste disposal...

Thorium is becoming more attractive indeed. I'm not sure if its used for power production just yet, but it seems like it will be: India has vast reserves of thorium, and heavy-water moderated reactors (candu's imported from canada as well as similar domestic constructions). It would seem logical that they would go for mostly-thorium fuel, supplemented by a small amount of slightly enriched uranium as a starter.
