I've found an interesting article at optics.org about the CW ruby laser out of my town.
Exclusive to optics.org: Innovative intra-cavity design has produced a continuous-wave ruby laser, with other novel sources set to follow...
Klastech launches the first CW ruby source

That's right... but more interesting than it might seem is the article of optics.org.
Some comprehensible informations about DENICAFC (double-enhanced intracavity frequency conversion) technology which used for the cw-ruby-laser.

Is it a true, uniform/level power output? Haven't the "CW" ruby lasers heretofore produced generated a quasi-CW output of very closely spaced spikes at high frequency?

Yes. It's a real CW Laser @694.3nm.
The secret is a technique termed double-enhanced intracavity frequency conversion (DENICAFC).
