I need a pair of laser safety glasses for a 150mw green laser that does not have an I.R. filter. I do not understand how laser glasses are classified so I have no clue on what to look for or what I need and I will NEVER use the laser until I have gotten the proper and certified laser safety glasses because I do not want to lose or damage my eyes since I only have one pair and they are not replaceable.

You want goggles for red lasers, they will offer the most protection for green. oh and get some UV goggles to protect you from the IR , just incase it kills you.

Of course I am joking. Maybe, just maybe, you should get goggles for a green laser ? But Im no expert .

Yeah, I mean if you sat staring into it, that wouldn't be good. But your not gonna get hurt by just burning stuff .

I seem to be getting mixed messages about this on the forum, but I'll just take your word for it!

I should make a correction, my question should really be is there such thing as safety glasses that will protect your eyes from both green and infrared laser light? I have seen a few posts that have comments about purchasing laser safety glasses that will protect your eyes from both green and infrared laser light. However, I have looked on the Internet for these glasses and have not found any. In that case, I am starting to wonder whether there is such thing as laser safety glasses that will protect your eyes from both green and infrared laser light.
