Default Are these 532nm eBay glasses safe?

The safety goggles I am interested in purchasing are listed here: Protection Safety Glasses Goggles for 532nm Green Laser with CE Certification | eBay

I am planning on using them in conjunction with a 100mW Bighead 532nm laser (which will hopefully have an IR filter installed if Max from Lazerer.com ever gets back to me)

I'm wondering if anybody has had experience with these goggles as they seem to be the best "certified" deal on eBay for use with IR filtered green lasers.

The glasses CLAIM to be OD+5, OD+6 and CLAIM to be "CE CERTIFIED"

These goggles are sold by win-win-mechatronic on eBay. This vendor only has one other mention on the entire forum.
As a laserpointerforums noob I would love some professional insight as to if these goggles seem legit or if they appear to be a scam.

Also, they look pretty damn cool

Default Re: Are these 532nm eBay glasses safe?

First off lazerer lasers dont have IR filters and idk if max will install one or not. Second, I wouldn't buy those glasses at all. If you want glasses to cover 532nm and 1064nm then go to the yellow link in my signature and under the safety section find the survival laser link and buy the black glasses for 532 & 1064. They are great for what you are lookong for and great quality. I would never buy safety glasses from china since they dont have to follow the same quality and safety standards as the usa.....they can claim anything they want but doesnt mean they are true the OD claimed. The eagle pair glasses and the certified glasses at thor labs are both certified and tested extensively. Good luck and if you have questions just ask
