So, if I point my laser at a white wall 5 feet from me, I don't need glasses? They're just for burning because it's real close, and for accidental light bouncing back into you eyes?


This is 50mw we're talking about.

If you use a Laser that is over 10mW...you should
be using Laser Safety Goggles... (End of sentence)

If you choose to yank at the Devil's tail that is your

Jerry is absolutely right. You get two eyeballs in life, and they can't be replaced, why take a chance?

Just like seatbelts are just incase your get in a wreck, you should still use them regardless

If you're using the laser outside or pointing at nonreflective objecs 20+ feet away you don't need the goggles. Anything other than that and the goggles are a good idea.
