Scopeguy's (glen's) goggles.

Well those who know what a shit new year I'm having will be please to know between Rob and Glenn I had a smile today.

After ordering ages ago my goggles finally arrived today.

I eagerly opened up the massive well padded jiffy bag and found the most eclectic mix of stuff I have ever seen in a package.

Glen it seems included the most random set of fluorescent stuff I have ever seen:


From L to R we have: A green lid, piece of orange paper, crackle marble, small green marble, metallic blue marble, blue click switch rubber, green biro, pink pen, snake, glasses!

The glasses seem effective on both BR and Green, my 130mW BR still looked VERY bright but at least was bearable; whilst the 30mW green looked like <1mW.

Now for the first time I'd like to show pics of things fluorescing!!




Once again Glenn provided a flawless transaction and Rob of course recommended him to me.

I would estimate an OD of somewhere between 1.5-2 across the range I tested; but without an LPM I cant be sure- my BR may be overpowered.

EDIT: these are rated at OD2+ for 405-532nm so perfect budget goggles for green and BR!

and the stuff sent does stuff with a green laser too! Glenn seriously is THE guy to buy goggles from.

I was expecting only 'guestgoggles' for what i paid, but both the kinds Glenn sent me work very well and I got mine shipment super fast too. But as for the freebies you hit the jackpot-He did send me a nice double axis diffraction grating.COOL--Lets see what I can find to send to Glenn-- btw whats up with the stethescope? lol--hak
