I have a Sanwu Pocket 445nm 500mw laser coming.. I also ordered a pair of their red OD3 laser protection glasses.

Are they good enough for this laser? Or should I get some other glasses?

Cheers!

Red as in the lenses are red or red as in they're for red lasers?

Be more specific. What's the wavelength rating on them? Do you have a link to the specific product?

Sorry..

Here is the description:
OD LEVEL: 3
Green protection goggles for 405nm, 638nm~650nm.
Red protection goggles for 445nm~470nm and 520nm~532mn.
User attention: Do not look directly into the laser beam even when you have put on the protection goggles.

They are sufficient then. They are for 445nm and they are OD3, meaning they reduce the power of the laser by a factor of 1000, or down to 0.5mW if you were to pass the beam directly through the lens.

I personally don't trust those super cheap glasses and would go with something more expensive, but others have tried them and report that they work fine.
