So at the moment I'm building a 650nm laser from a lpc826 diode. I'm gonna get these goggles Eagle Pair® 190-470nm & 660-760nm Laser Safety Goggles unless anyone has a different suggestion. I was wondering if these ones would be good if I eventually build a high powered 445nm build or if i would need the 190-540nm Eagle Pair goggles. Because according to the description they are OD4+ at 445 but I was just wondering if there was something I was missing here. Sorry if something like this has been asked before but I couldnt find anything by searching.

Thanks. That was what I figured but i thought i might have been missing something because I never saw them mentioned in reference to 445nm lasers

Its because people are more used to get the orange ones - protection from ~400nm up to around 560nm. Thats because it cover violet, blue, light blue (473), argon lines, green diode and green DPSS.

Red wavelengths don't seem to be very "famous" anymore...
