Hey everyone,
I'm just wondering if courses offered by websites like this would be of any use, either in terms of a meaningful qualification, or in terms of learning?
They offer a few different courses, and tbh I'm rather interested in having an actual qualification under my belt.
What say you guys, yay or nay?
Thanks,
Alessandro

I learned more from LPF on lasers and laser safety than anywhere else I searched and some laser courses like the ANSI Z136 standards are outrageously priced just to tell you to wear goggles and other common sense procedures.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother unless you want a career as a Laser Safety Operator.

If you're still interested, just read through a guide like this that has the data and all the other stuff you'd learn in that course.

If the domain doesn't end with

.AC
.AC.UK
.EDU

or similar then it's accreditation is suspect to say the least.

You are better off popping by Brians site PHD

and getting yourself an equally valid PhD :)

best wishes
