IS this ok?

I ave a wicked lasers arctic and a fusion.. . now i have one pair of their goggles bullt for their green lasers, and two pairs of the glasses they sent for the arctic (yellow lasershades)


When i am in my room, and the dot is from .5-10 feet away, it is really really bright on the arctic with my one pair on, so when i do burning, i have been wearing both pairs. Now, they are like glasses, so ambient blue blow can be seen if you look striaght up or down at your shirt ot the wall...... with two pairs on the dot is stil bright, but mch much dimmer than with one pair on.

Now here are my questions......


1. Is it safe to burn things with this 1w arctic in my room with one pair on? two pairs?
2. will the blue glow give me cancer? if it is this s*** is going on ebay. not worth a few matches lol
3. i had my goggles for my green laser on, and then by accident thinking they were the arctic ones, i put the arctic dot on the wall about five feet from me and then about 1 foot from me. Luckily, it was with the "flood/flashlight lense, so it was a noticeable rectangle from both distances. Is this going to hurt my eyes?
*note, while wearing the arctic shades, i shone the beam at the wall, and then added on the fusion shades and the dot dimmed greatly. does this mean the grean ones work for the arctic too?

Also, after i work with my lasers, burning stuff, or even pointing my 125mW at a tree about a block (not n the street obv.. just a measurement) away, y eyes seem to feel different and almost burning slightly. Now I am paranoid so i dont know if its in my head, becasue im not an idiot who uses lasers without goggles, but i also dont value fun with lasers near any any any of my sight

So if i wear goggles/glasses, will my eyes feel weird at all after burning/etc??? also
can i point my arctic at stars on a PLANELESS night and look at the beam ponte away from me without goggles? i havent done this sith this laser because i am not sure.....


Also, as i mentioned, can the arctic be used with just the one pair or two pairs of lasershades in a room about 10 by 7feet?

The dot will be bright. But you really likely do not need to be wearing two pairs. From what we've seen on here, the "blue light cancer scare" is lightly overblown.

#3 - no, it's unlikely to hurt you.

It's good that you're worrying, but you may be overworrying here. Your eyes may feel different because they have trouble focusing on such a wavelength; wavelengths in the 400's are hard for us to focus on and see. You're probably dealing with nothing more than eyestrain.

Really, in a room, you only need one pair, if they are the appropriate type. WL claims they are.

My Eyes always feel weird after taking my green laser safety glasses off. I believe it's because my eyes have to adjust back when going to "full color" again. Almost like wearing 3D glasses, except 3D glasses are much worse on me. One side being blue and the other red, when you take them off both eyes have to adjust back, but adjust differently as each had a different filter.

Also, as aryntha said, 405nm is going to be harder for you to focus on, and possibly strain/mess with your eyes a bit. When you feel it is, just let your eyes rest from it.

But your eyes feeling weird should have nothing to with eye damage.
