They sound like IR goggles to me.

Which means they won't work for lasers in the visible spectrum, so not all that helpful. But if you have a powerful CO2 laser, or just a IR diode laser you use for burning, these would be good :)

They protect against wavelengths not used in the laser hobby... And CO[sub]2[/sub]. Most safety goggles protect against CO[sub]2[/sub]

w0w, sounds interesting...You should post some pictures of them... ;D You knew that was comming, :p

There are allot of IR scared people here, Im sure you could make a quick buck off those, as long as they're in good shape! ;D

^Nice.

You want to order me some government-only Oakley stuff?

They stopped offering the completely blacked-out look of some of my preferred glasses.

Actually, I'm really sad because my favorite pair of sunglasses ever is the glasses that came as the Razrwire, which could only be bought with the added bluetooth thingy. Now I want another pair of those glasses and not only can I not buy them without having to pay more for the bluetooth attachment duplicate, They don't have the black frame on their website anymore. I just want a black pair of Razrwires without having to pay for the Bluetooth attachment I would never use, is that so much to ask?

Haha, yea. I love my Oakley gear. I wear it every day for 12 hours at a time and it makes the job a bit more comfortable.

Some of my SI stuff:
