They sound like IR goggles to me.

Which means they won't work for lasers in the visible spectrum, so not all that helpful. But if you have a powerful CO2 laser, or just a IR diode laser you use for burning, these would be good

They protect against wavelengths not used in the laser hobby... And CO[sub]2[/sub]. Most safety goggles protect against CO[sub]2[/sub]

^Nice.

You want to order me some government-only Oakley stuff?

They stopped offering the completely blacked-out look of some of my preferred glasses. 8-)

Actually, I'm really sad because my favorite pair of sunglasses ever is the glasses that came as the Razrwire, which could only be bought with the added bluetooth thingy. Now I want another pair of those glasses and not only can I not buy them without having to pay more for the bluetooth attachment duplicate, They don't have the black frame on their website anymore. I just want a black pair of Razrwires without having to pay for the Bluetooth attachment I would never use, is that so much to ask?

Haha, yea. I love my Oakley gear. I wear it every day for 12 hours at a time and it makes the job a bit more comfortable.

Some of my SI stuff:
