Hey there.

I was just searching some salesites from Denmark and found this:

After reading some of the text (lolling a lot) i came to this part:
Brug som fugleskræmmer.
Duer, råger, måger, solsorte og lign. bliver bange for prikken og flyver skræmte væk. Er ekstrem effektiv mod fugle.

Translated:
Use as a scarecrow.
Doves, rooks, gulls, blackbirds and other animals will get scared of the dot and fly away. It is extremely effective against birds.

Not feeling very proud of my country atm.. this person should get arrested as it's also against the law to do such thing.. :yabbmad::yabbmad::yabbmad:

It doesn't mean what you think,it probably means if you point the laser near the animal it will get scared and run/fly away.I pointed a 5mw green laser next to a pigeon once and it flew away.

Likely. I've used a 3mW laser to scare away birds. It's highly effective, just point the dot near them and move it slightly. They get scared and fly away, no harm comes to the bird.

Yes, but we're talking about a laser here that is advertised to light firework, so a simple reflection could probably do eye damage to the animals.

Now that i think of it like that it does sound really bad :/ I mean imagine it reflecting into a pigeons eye temporally blinding it(or permanently) and then it falling off a roof.They really shouldn't be advertising a laser that powerful for scaring animals away, just like ARG said a 3mw laser would work and if it did reflect into the animals eye it would have time to close it before it did any damage, Don't!! use any laser above 5mw to scare animals!!! it could damage there eyes! or humans for that matter

I doubt that green laser on that site is anywhere near 5mW. Even if they tried to get it to 5mW it's probably some cheapo that puts out far more.

Wow just read that he also wrote this:

Probably not a really good idéa to use a powerfull laser on a pathway (which would most likely be public) when you cant see anything.. The chance is you will hit another person or get a reflection from a stone.. :/

this guy is......using a 1w laser on a pathway is just a accident waiting to happen.I could imagine this guy selling angle grinders,Got a blunt knife? Can't cut through that bread don't worry!!! Just use this high powered 8000rpm to cut it like butter XD
