Default Need safety glasses for yellow 589

Eagle Pair I like a lot. But they are waiting on some new ones that will be better for yellow.
Anyone have a recommendation. I plan on getting a Spartan 50mw in yellow
Thanks

Maybe you should just wait for the new Eagle Pair. 50mW isn't much, I would be surprised if these weren't good enough: Eagle PairŪ 190-400nm & 560-640nm Laser Safety Goggles
I can't recommend any for sure since I don't have a 589nm but I recently bought these on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Yiding-Glasses...XCV9W9WDD42EGF
But I have no way to test them at 589nm so buy at your own risk, they are darker than in the photo. I wear glasses and I have some HDE glasses that fit under my glasses that look like the same design but these are larger and won't fit under or over my glasses, so not all the cheap glasses that look like that are the same size. Anyway you need an extra or two to share your lasers with friends. At 50mW you won't be wearing glasses all the time anyway.

Thanks Alan. I like Survival lasers. Sounds like I can wait for the new googles to arrive.
You are right 50mw isn't that much. I'm hoping when I get my 589 it will test out higher on my Laserbee.

Good luck; DPSS 589 are inherently unstable and prone to mode hopping and irregular output during warmup. However, small price to pay for a fantastic wavelength and you may find a unit that exceeds the stated peak power. I did ask DL if they would meter a laser before shipping to me and waiting to hear back.
