I brought this laser on ebay.

From what they say it has no ir filter fitted because it is a single wav length and no ir is emmited.
It is a 10mw.

I read on another site that if a laser has no ir filter and emmits ir can damage your eyes
Since you are unable to detect IR, there will not be any blink or aversion reflex to protect your eyes from damage. This damage can be done even for modest power lasers without any immediate symptoms. Only later, will the damage become evident as your brain will initially fill in for the damaged receptors. As the cells in your eyes do not regenerate, you must be careful not to damage your eyes.

SO my question is do you think my eyes will be ok since i did not directly look at the beam of my blue/violet 10mw laser? I was olny viewing it shining on the wall and also a roof top.
I am really concerned and wonder if i should go get them checked out.

Your Blu-ray doesn't put out any IR so your eyes should be fine. Just don't look directly into the beam or a reflection and you have nothing to worry about.
