Laser safety question

I bought these lasers from ebay. Green&Red Laser Studio Laser Stage Lighting Club Party on eBay.ca (item 130478253434 end time 23-Jan-11 13:46:46 EST)

I am hosting a party with these lights but I am not sure if they will be safe if I point it towards us. It is labeled Class III B. Should I be worried if people took a glance at the light directly for a second by accident or it should be fine? The laser would be about 2 meters in height and 2 meters in length away from us.

There are many MANY beams, so the the power is divided many times. Unless you're staring right into the thing with your eye pressed against the aperture, it should be safe. Keep most of it above the audience if you can, since it'll look cooler anyway.

Keep people a few meters from the aperture, placing it a bit above the audience would be a good idea indeed.
