Just curious as for a means to test the IR output from a pointer. I have an LPM, but also wanted to find out how much my pointers may be outputting. Thanks!

It's really easy...
Aim your laser at the LPM, turn it on and place the goggles(make sure they don't block IR) in front of the LPM!
If any IR is outputted it will show on the LPM!

How do you propose he test for the goggles' transparency to IR in the first place?
You're not going to find any safety goggles that pass 100% of IR
A direct laser hit on safety glasses tends to melt them.

I know the goggles won't pass 100% of IR.
But this is a good test, which if he has all the material, can give him a rough estimate to how much IR is leaking.
