Goggles for lasers

I am wondering does red laser pointers give off IR radiation, I have heard that Green lasers do, Will I be fine without goggles. I know you will say that i should wear them..

Red lasers do not give off IR, but a lower wavelengths of IR do give off red.

If the laser is above 30mW, get red laser goggles.

Red lasers don't emit any IR. Whether or not you need goggles depends entirely on the power of your laser and what you plan on doing with it.
