Default Which goggles for this laser?

Hi Everyone,
Sorry but I cannot post links yet since im a new member but anyway here is my issue,

I just ordered the 200mw adjustable red laser from o-like
I'm pretty sure it is the same as the dealextreme laser.

I am looking at these safety goggles at dragonlasers

The problem is, the goggles offered are these :
590nm-650nm and
640nm-750nm

I dont want to accidentally choose the wrong one and become blinded to death...

Anyway, you guys seem to know this laser well, so maybe someone can help me out....
Thanks guys!

The Red red Laser could be a 660nm... so I would say...
choose the 640nm-750nm goggles... between the two....
they have the best range for red lasers...

Awwww,

Thats very unfortunate..... I was looking forward to buying the blue ones, they look awesome
Thanks for the quick reply!

Also, does anyone know at which mw laser you actually need the goggles for?
I ordered the 200mw red, and a 50mw green from ledshoppe, do I need goggles for the 50mw?

Thanks

Well... you don't absolutely need goggles for your laser, I have lasershades from WL but I find myself never using them. As long as you don't do long burns or anything stupid you should be fine off without goggles.

Hey... you can buy anything you like if you want to make a fashion statement...
or don't use goggles at all like "[ch12290]" suggested............. :-?

We're not the goggle police... :P

What's 200mW of Red Laser Power going to do to your retina anyway... :

They're not my eyes... I use goggles... :

well, I do see spots in my eyes from time to time, but that's totally normal, it won't be permanent,
OK FOR REAL-- I only use goggles for burning so that I can see the dot easier
