ok, I had an idea that using a camera or camcorder could safely let you watch your lasers without going blind!

Get a box(a big one) and make a hole in it. Put the lens of your camera through the hole so that the only light you see is from the LCD.

Now you can watch your lasers through your camera lens instead of your eyes directly! Make sure there is no way that the lasers can enter the box directly. Of course, it won't look as good at with your eyes, but its a safe and temporary solution until you can buy laser shades.

You will look stupid, but it will prevent you from going blind!
right?

Right and I thought about doing that too. But then I thought if I can afford to get in this hobby, I can afford goggles. And it is so much easier... ;)

This is exactly the type of setup I use, except my camera is low-light sensative (sees IR better, which is more fun because it's cheeper! lol) and it's hooked up to a bioptic, PORTABLE (has it's own battery pack), HMD.

I cant stress enough how important safty is, provided you cant get goggles I also highly reccoemnd this method as a quick-fix!
