The Dominator made it and it's a 3.5w. I'm pretty sure that processed through sort facility means it made it. I hope lol they just updated the satus

My 5mw from laserglow is apparently being held...mileage is varying greatly. Hopefully it'll go through this time.

National and international regulations governing the carriage of mail prohibit certain dangerous goods from the post. We have been able to get certain exemptions from these prohibitions allowing customers to send small quantities of specific consumer items through the post to domestic addresses. This has meant specific changes affecting some common items including aerosols, alcoholic beverages above 24% ABV, lithium batteries, nail varnish, perfumes and aftershaves. These items can still be posted to UK destinations, providing customers comply with specific quantity, volume, packaging and labelling requirements.
Failure to comply with the legal requirements for the transport of dangerous goods is an offence.
Changes take effect for items posted on or after 15th July 2013. Please see the additional information below.

The maximum number of batteries allowed in each package is the number that may be connected to the equipment plus two spares. The maximum net quantity of cells or batteries is 5kg per package. Watt-hour rating must not exceed 20Wh per cell or 100Wh per battery. Each cell and battery must be of a type proven to meet the requirements of each test in the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, section 38.3. Batteries are subject to these tests irrespective of whether the cells of which they are composed have been so tested.

Interesting, I just had a business package rejected by the postal service that contained Li-Ion batteries.

cheers

luckily i still haven't had any trouble with costums...
infact most of my lasers i bought in bangkok a few weeks ago and brought it with me in my bag ^^ even the 1W one :p

Costums was searching my bag and looking at all the lasers but i got to keep them as i said they are ''disco lasers'' that make cool star patterns ^^
in my country 1mW is maximum allowed power... and as a costums officer at the airport your supposed to know this i guess... but i still got to keep them haha ^^

I do however have to go to court because they found a small pocket knife  a 1000mW burning laser is okay but a small knife i can buy anywhere lands me in court hahaha ^^''

I wouldn't worry about your lasers.

After a week of "processed through sort facility (NYC)" my lasers (1.2w blue and 100mw green) got through today! Just order those batteries separately.

yes. It got held and opened. It was submitted multiple times, the box was marked on as well. It did come through though. they ruined the anti static bag... a small gripe but annoying as hell, as now i cant reuse it.
