green ones ofc. IR is nothing compared with the amount of green light, also IR is not well focused, it's not really dangerous.

The green light damage you if you see in the beam, or get a strong reflection.

The IR light can damage your eye, almost everywhere, anytime .. Becouse you cant see it. You dont know when you are ''under an attack'' lol

And one more thing, do you see the laser beam with strong green goggles on? ..

Never tested but (I don't use googles), how can you see green color through something that is designed to block green?

you are not suposed to wear them for outside pointing, googles are for burning mainly.

this is the best answer in my opinion. there are so many people here and many conflicting reports of IR damage and Leakage. They are your eyes. Be safe and use common sense.

thanks chipdouglas.

I'm really tired of seeing dragonlasers saying IR light from a 50mW pointer is going to "kill" you.

I have heard of laser safety glasses that will protect your eyes from both green and infrared laser light but I am not sure if they truly make them.

The green in probably way more dangerous IMO. I always believe its better to be cautious with your eyes though... I mean you really only have two. If you want to you can find something to block out the green and pass the IR then use a video camera to see the path
that the IR takes. All the ones I've seen have had their IR quite well focused, almost as well as the green. I would definitely use green protection though. I would recommend some certified green laser protection. Like these --> http://store.oemlasersystems.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_10_72&products_id=420

be safe, Hydro15
