Guess what happened to me: I bought a pair of goggles on ebay, $40 with shipping. specs:
190-400 nm 5+
625-850 nm 4+
662-835 nm 5+
633 nm 5+

But what did I recieve?
190-400nm 5+
532nm 2.5+
630-655nm 1.5+
795-1070nm 3.7+
810-1064nm 4+
And that are the specs from the very nice ML7 goggles! So, I have ML7 goggles for $40, I think that's a nice deal :)

Got images?

Here are two pics of them:

And I also took one of all my goggles.

all the specs:
top row, left to right:
- UVEX : OD7 at 190-380nm, OD1-2 at 633nm,, OD 4-5 at670-680nm, OD5 at 10600nm
- LaserGard: OD1 at 632.8
- Bolle: OD6 at 180-532nm
- UVEX: OD7 at 190-380, OD 2-3 at 488-515, OD5 at 10600nm
- LaserGard: OD15 at 488nm, 11 at 514.5 (and about 2 at 532, but not rated for it.)

second row:
- BLPS: no rating, measured OD 4 at 980nm
- Trimedyne: OR 8.69 at 1060, OD 6.11 at 1400-1800
- UVEX: OD7.5 at 190-280nm, OD3.3 at 850-1000nm, OD 6 at 1000-1500nm, OD 6.94 at 1064nm, OD4.6 at 1500-2300nm, OD3.1 at 2300-4400nm, OD 5+ at 4400-10800nm
- NoIR: OD 6+ at 190-400nm, OD 5+ at 720-1090nm, OD7+ at 750-1064nm. Also has a long en207 rating.
- NoIR: OD 5+ at 190-400nm, OD 2.5+ at 532nm, OD 1.5+ at 630-655nm, OD 3.7+ at 795-1070nm, OD 4+ at 810-1064nm.

I take my eye safety serious, I have a 6W argon, 2x 20W diode bars and a pulsed YAG laser. No second chances with those, so heavy eyeprotection needed.

I'm still looking for a high OD goggles at 650nm and one with a high OD at 1065nm and 532. The ML7 OD's are too low for a doubled pulsed YAG.

sounds like you got a great deal there, but are those CERTIFIED ratings ?????

All the UVEX goggles are ANSI Z136.1 certified, the NoIR YG2 is EN207 certified, those are my most important goggles. I'm considering buying a pair of 532nm goggles with EN207 certification. And the goggles I planned to buy were also EN207 certified, but I got the ML7.
The UVEX IR goggles are new about $600, so I trust my eyes to them. They have glass lenses, so it can stand high power direct hits.

Just curious: what does the average member here has on goggles? Maybe everybody can post info about their goggles with ratings and certifications.
