Default Any up-to-date experiences with cheap Uvex Safety Goggles?

I am searching for a pair of cheap, but good laser safety goggles. I do not use lasers frequently and only want them for an adjustable 5-20mw 405nm laser module. I found these glasses: http://www.amazon.com/Uvex-S0360X-Ul.../dp/B003OBZ64M

As you might know, these goggles have been discussed and tested in this forum in the past, however I have not found any newer threads concernung them. Most discussions are years old. Does anybody have any experiences with a new pair of these Goggles?

I have those but mine are about 2 1/2 years old, they aren't officially laser safety glasses, in fact it says on the box or the insert not to use them as laser safety glasses, but it also says they block 99.9% of UV light. This seems to extend all the way through blue and starts dropping off at green. 405nm is right on the edge of UV and at the limit of the visible spectrum. You should be ok with those, 20mW isn't much, at 5mW you might not even see the dot with those on, if you have never had a 405nm before be aware that it's not very visible, of course that also makes it more dangerous because it's look is decieving.

I know it's a much larger expense, but for peace of mind I suggest getting the eagle pair goggles.

You will probably be fine with those, dealing with only 20mW of 405nm, but I also haven't tested any of the Uvex goggles in a few years. At the time, the ones I tested, did very well against 405nm, 445nm, and 532nm (ir filtered).
